  Notes	William and Sarah Adams, Native Virginian moved from Tennessee to Carroll County Georgia with six of their seven children prior to the 1830 Federal census. The were listed in that census as well as 1840 and 1850 censuses. The family lived in the Villa Rica area and were early members of the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church until 27 Nov. 1830 when they were dismissed by letter. Later they lived in the Temple community and were living with their youngest son, Absalom Adams, at the time of their deaths. The Will of William Adams is recorded in Book A, Pg. 29, in Carroll County Georgia. Death dates are taken from the Bible records of Nathaniel Adams and Susannah Adams McRae. All children are listed in the Bible records also.
