  Notes	John & Rebecca moved from Tennessee to Paulding Georgia about 1824, when their son William was eight weeks old. In a settlement of the estate, John Little, the Coroner of Paulding county, Georgia, charged the estate $12.50 "for holding the inquest on the body of Said John Adams on 20 Aug 1852 and also $1.00 for the Counstables for summoning the Jurors." Apparently John died under suspicious circumstances, for an inquest to have been held into the cause of his death. Rebecca Adams (wife of John, mother of the children) was appointed guardian for the minor children 13 May 1856.
